As of that, I felt discouraged and put writing aside for a while and self-published that novel. I'd spent years writing an epic fantasy novel - a 176,000 word door stopper. I then looked up towards the Parma Court neighbourhood that stood at a distance and sighed. Why? Because it was the backside of the building in which I lived.

I was high up upon the 8th floor and the scenery beneath me was one that I could've recognized anywhere and under any circumstance. In my dream, I had been standing on the ledge of a balcony looking south. To give you an example of what I mean by that, one morning I snapped awake at about 4:00am. This naturally led to me having disturbing dreams that would often turn into reality. Ironic, right?
